missingWrote a review on 30 Novcheck-in chaos
Check-in chaos started at 5pm, which left some frustration while waiting for access. The room situation was awkward-having a door leading to hot water tanks. Fire doors in the room didn't close properly, a concern for safety. The lack of a printed breakfast menu led to confusion, with guests having to ask what was available. Lastly, a coffee order went missing during breakfast, which contributed to the slow service overall.

Staying at The Six Bells seemed like joining a family. The team, especially Una, Nigel, and Luke. The location is serene, nestled in a quiet area with easy access to local attractions. My room, cozy and consistently prepared for my needs, was a delight to come back to after work. The included breakfast was a real treat-plentiful and freshly cooked, a perfect way to start the day. One minor hitch though-some areas could use a little upkeep, like the frosted glass in the bathroom for privacy. The kettle had limescale, a bit off-putting. While the breakfast hours (7am, 8am) were too early for my schedule, I appreciated having such tasty options available. I felt the dining options could be clearer, especially on menu offerings. A printed menu would have helped, as I didn't know what was available until I asked. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was good, and I'd certainly recommend this charming place. I will miss the friendly ambiance here!

The breakfast was a highlight, with a great full English served by a charming lady who made the experience pleasant.
I had difficulty with check-in as I couldn't book in until 5pm, and the limited dining options were quite confusing.

Very nice breakfast and comfy beds
The breakfast was a highlight, thanks to chef Luke who served up delicious options. Our room was small but clean with a comfy bed, made for a good night's sleep. It was unfortunate that the pub closed early, leaving us to find dinner elsewhere. The temperature in the bar could have used some improvement to make it cozier.
